PostSubject: Team Regulations   Tue Jun 16, 2009 12:58 pm

If you are to enter the GP1 Series then there are some rules you must follow.

1. Chassis

You must pick your teams chassis. If your chassis can only take certain engines, then pick that engine in the next part. Each team requires two chassis. Both Chassis must be from the same manufacture.

Chassis 1
Manufacture: McLaren
Compatible engines: ANY
Chassis Avaliable: 0

Chassis 2
Manufacture: Williams
Compatible engines: ANY
Chassis Avaliable: 2

Chassis 3
Manufacture: Ferrari
Compatible engines: ANY
Chassis Avaliable: 0

Chassis 4
Manufacture: Renault
Compatible engines: ANY
Chassis Avaliable: 2

Chassis 5
Manufacture: BMW
Compatible engines: ANY
Chassis Avaliable: 4

Chassis 6
Manufacture: Super Aguri
Compatible engines: ANY
Chassis Avaliable: 0

Chassis 7*
Manufacture: SPOONANA
Compatible engines: MITSUBISHI
Chassis Avaliable: 0

*SPOONANA will as their own team.

2. Engines

All teams must have an engine. Teams can choose what ever manufacture they like. Teams can only pick one maufacture of one manufacture group (e.g. you cannot have Porsche and Audi as seperate engine manufactures as they are both part of the VGA Group).

3. Sponsorship

You can have any sponsor you like as long as they meet certain rules.

1. Sponsors are avalible on a first come, first served basis (e.g. if team A picks vodafone as their sponsor first, then team B cannot have vodafone, but can have rivals like orange or O2)
2. Nothing offensive or related to sex drugs and Alcohol.

4. Liveries

You are free to have what ever design you wish on your car as long as it isn't simular to another team.
When you have done your livery send the DDS to an admin.

If you are unable to create a livery, then tell an admin, they will give you a sponsor form and they will make your livery to your design choice.

5. Application

Teams are to apply in potential league members teams thread with the following template.

Team name:
Driver 1:
Driver 2:
Chassis:
Engine:

Teams require two drivers but can apply with one. They must confirm a drivers lineup before the first race . They can bring a friend or pick a driver from the drivers thread in potential league members.

6. Team names

You can enter as an independant constructor or as a manufacture however same rule applies with the engines. Other sport teams e.g. football are not permitted.
