 Sporting Regulations

Note: These are the GP1 Series 2009 official rules(rules can change during season and can be changed while switching the season ). If any of the rules does change, drivers will be informed about that in a couple of days.

If you even after reading dont understand the rules, you are free to ask any of the admins(Spooner or Tyler)

1. Rules about racing behavior, aids and everything else connected with racing in our league.

1A. AIDS:
TC Control: Optional
Auto clutch: Optional
Auto Shift: Optional
Steering Help: Off
Braking Help: Off
ABS Control: Optional
Spin Recovery: Off
Stability Control: Optional
Auto Pits: Off
Auto Reverse: Optional
Type of Start: Standing
Race Length: 25 Laps
Race Time Duration: 30 mins
Tire Wear: x1
Fuel Usage: x1
Flag Rules: Full
Damage Multiplier: 50%
Formation Lap: On


1A. RACING BEHAVIOR:
-You must have 2 wheels on track(or curb).
-Gaining time while driving beside the track is forbidden!
(this also includes cutting in your warmup lap to get a higher topspeed on the main straight or to save tires.)
-Dont hit anybody to gain a position.
-Race fair!
-Wet tires (intermediate/extreme wet) are strictly forbidden for dry races. (Explanation next post).
-Do not take shortcuts to gain time.

1B. WARMUP AND SAFETY CAR PERIODS:
During warmup and safety car periods there are special rules:
-keep the distance(atleast 10m)
-no heavy brakings
-no overtaking(except in SC period if you are 1 lap behind and you get permission to overtake)

Those drivers that will not follow this rules will be punished with penalty atleast 10 places down the grid.

*You dont even need to cause an incident, admins can still decide a dangerous driving. Following rules are just things that admins will look at and then decide the penalty if needed.

1C. QUALIFYING:
Qualifyings starts at 8:00 PM GMT.

Q1: Slowest 25% drop out
Q2: The next 25% drop out
Q3: Fastest 50% fight for pole

1D. PING:
Drivers with more than 250 will be kicked from the race.

1E. SPECIAL WARNINGS:
If you miss the race without telling us, you get special warning. When you collect three of them, you are banned for 1 race, if you commt this 3 times in a row, It will go to the FIA to decide weather or not you as a driver or your team can compete.

1F. PIT EXIT
Crossing the white line after exiting the pits is forbidden. Drivers who cross the line and gain an advantage, cause a crash or slow down an opponent, will be penalised.



2. Rules about non-racing obligations in our league.

2B. SERVER PASSWORD:
Sharing the password of the server is strictly forbbiden, violation of this rule can be penalised with a ban of 1 race or ban from the league.
